St. John's Rescue Corps on site during Cold Water Challenge

The St John Rescue Corps is a uniformed voluntary organisation, operating in civil protection and humanitarian aid. Its volunteer members are trained in basic rescue techniques (both land based and water based) as well as advanced rescue such as fire fighting and high angle rescue. It's mission statement is "To provide Malta with a support civil protection unit consisting of adult volunteers fully trained in rescue and first aid".

The Corps rescue divers and members will be supporting the World Record Diving Malta team in their upcoming cold water challenge on the 9th of March at Starfish Diving School by standing by to provide assistance both on land and at sea. Moreover during the event, the St. John's Rescue Corps will be giving short demonstrations on rescue scenarios for the public to watch.
World Record Diving Malta would like to strongly encourage donations to the Corps. Anyone wishing to donate may do so by sending an SMS to one of these numbers: 50617367 (€2.33) 50618073 (€4.66) 50618912 €7.00), or sending a contribution by mail to St John Rescue Corps, Fort Madalena, Madliena Hill, Madliena, MALTA. http://www.stjohnrescuecorps.org
